I'm sorry that an officer profiled and targeted your son. And I'm sorry for every child that has happened to. It's not right and those officers should not be employed. I don't think they're all like that though. I knew two SOs pretty well and they were amazing with every kid - very personable and caring.

Again, the cops at Parkland and Uvalde did not act in a way that I approve of but there are many cops and SOs who do put their lives on the line every day to save others.

One of my best friends in the US is a Republican and she is a huge advocate for getting rid of guns. She's signed petitions and protested against them.

I don't think the one-size-fits-all approach works with human beings.
