I moved from the UK to US when I was 25. Didn't know anyone. This was a little easier than your move because there was no language barrier but everything else was exactly the same for me.

The sleepless nights trying to make the decision, the crying parents in the airport, the feeling I wouldn't see anyone again, me actually crying on the plane. It's insane, right!? And people that haven't done it just don't know. They just can't relate.
