This is a really interesting read, Sally. You've led such an interesting life. Your childhood has so many similarities to my mum's childhood. She moved constantly - mostly through African countries but in other continents too. She never put down roots or made good friends, a lot like you. As an adult, she did the same as you - kept her children in one place. The difference is that my mum doesn't enjoy travelling anymore, which I think is a shame. I'm glad you kept your passion and love of travelling.
