This is so true. In the world of politics and religion there are two sides and you must choose. I have shared my views with friends, which are usually somewhere in the middle - flipping sides depending on the issue, and I have been told off, insulted, and threatened with the end of our friendship. I'm all for the third way of searching for a middle ground.
