You know it! I'll take one of those days, please.

I hear you when you talk about keeping up friendships with people who have older kids. That's a real problem for me. My best friend's kids are quite a bit older than my daughter. She wants to do full day trips all the time and spur of the moment stuff. That just doesn't work for us and I've told her that but she doesn't listen. It's very frustrating.

Unfortunately, I think you're right - the only people who understand us are other mothers with similar aged children. Ugh. It's all hard.
